New Flowers at Battersea Garden Centre Garden Centre & Florist: Creating beautiful Spring bouquets for delivery direct to your door!
Spring is glorious for florists …. the hydrangeas in all shades… blues, soft and bright pinks, and greens, are looking glorious. And then of course the peonies..!
We always stock roses of all colours – whites, pale pinks and brighter pinks for our vintage bouquets, alongside ruscus, eucalyptus, gypsophelia (‘baby’s breath’), and we love stocks, antirrhinum, and lizianthus.
We’re also buying huge alliums when we can at the moment – they look great in bouquets or are really striking on their own.
We choose all of our flowers ourselves, and pride ourselves on flower bouquets that look wonderful – and that last.
If there’s anything in particular that you’d like – whether that’s red roses, or button holes or a bridal bouquet, or a table arrangement for a dinner party, then please do get in touch.
From our florist stall in Battersea we deliver across Wandsworth, Clapham, Fulham, Chelsea, Clapham, Balham, Stockwell and Kennnington. We are a small team and do the deliveries ourselves across South West London. If you’re a little further afield we can see what we can do to help.
Enjoy the peony and hydrangea season!
We’re very excited to announce for the second year our involvement with The Chelsea Fringe.
Stop Press: Free Theatre Event, Thursday June 6th, 6pm:

May the sun shine!
Hallelujah – the first month of spring! The weather, as in just about every month of the year, can be variable… Dickens summed it up nicely: ‘It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.’ (Great Expectations)
What can you expect to see flowering?
● Gloriously camellias, with blooms from white through palest pink to deepest lipstick and all against a background of dark-green, lush foliage.
● The fantastic, tulip-shaped goblets of magnolia flowers, one of the great spectacles of gardens. (There are various ways that the arrival of spring is charted and one of them is to watch seven carefully chosen magnolias in Cornwall. When each of these seven trees has 50 open blooms – spring is said to have arrived in Cornwall and England! Follow the drama at greatgardensofcornwall.co.uk)
Snow in the garden is a lovely thing, especially when it arrives gently, on a windless night and you wake to find it coating every horizontal surface down to the narrowest twig and the tops of gateposts. The effect is transformative, turning familiar outdoor spaces into magical wonderlands.
